Writer for March - Empi Baryeh
In our first reading for the Ghana Voices Series in 2014, the Writers Project of Ghana in collaboration with the Goethe Institute features as guest writer for March, novelist Empi Baryeh.

Empi Baryeh was born in Liberia and was educated in Cameroon, Ghana, Botswana, and had her postgraduate studies in the U.S.A. She is currently an assistant registrar at the Office of Research, Innovation and Development, University of Ghana.

Empi Baryeh has been writing since the age of thirteen, and her focus is on multicultural romance stories. Her novel, Most Eligible Bachelor (Evernight Publishing, 2012) was followed by Chancing Faith (Black Opal Books, 2012). Empi is currently working on sequels to both books.

Empi Baryeh lives in Accra with her husband.

This event offers the opportunity to meet and interact with the writer. There will be a short discussion session after the readings. Autographed copies of the books will be on sale.
