Readings from the collection, "Kenkey for Ewes"

For the month of April, Writers Project of Ghana and the Goethe Institute proudly present an evening of readings from the anthology Kenkey For Ewes and other very short stories, first published as an eBook by Flash Fiction Ghana in July, 2017. A full audiobook version of the book is set to be released by Akoobooks Audio this year. The flash fiction anthology, edited by A. A. Asiedu, D. H. Dzah and J. J. Johnson, features stories by young Ghanaian writers from across the country. The event will feature readings from contributors to the anthology and voice actors from Akoobooks.

Flashfiction Ghana was set up in 2012 to collect and publish flash fiction from across the country. Kenkey for Ewes and other very short stories is their first anthology, and features 50 stories by contemporary writers. This collection has been very well received and was featured at Pagya! A Literary Festival in Accra in 2017.

AkooBooks Audio is Ghana’s first publisher and digital distributor of African audiobooks, and offers a wide range of audio services. It was founded by Ama Dadson in 2017, and offers digital publishing services using current technologies.
