Pa Gya! A literary Festival in Accra (2021)

How time does fly!

And so soon, a year has gone by, and the Writers Project of Ghana, Goethe-Institut Ghana and the Foundation for Contemporary Art are honoured to invite you to participate in Pa Gya! A Literary Festival in Accra from Friday 15th October 2021 to Sunday 17th October 2021.

Pa Gya! A Literary Festival in Accra is a three day literary arts festival and features various activities such as readings, panel discussions, poetry performances and story-telling sessions, book launches, literary prize awards, comics and graphic novels, and more.

The first edition of Pa Gya! A Literary Festival in Accra  was held in 2017 and the festival has been held every year since then. In 2020, a virtual/in-person mix for events was adopted in response to the global Covid-19 pandemic. This year, the festival will again be in a mixed mode format.

In addition to attending the events in person, the events will be available for joining online via Zoom, and will be streamed on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube on Writers Project of Ghana accounts.

This year's festival will be held at the Goethe-Institut and the Foundation for Contemporary Art (located in the Du Bois Centre), both in Cantonments, Accra.

Featuring book launches, performances, readings, talks, presentations, exhibitions, film screenings, and more, this year also promises a pristine Pa Gya! experience.
