Writers Project of Ghana and the Goethe Institute are happy to announce this month’s public reading event. The accomplished Nigerian novelist and playwright, Sefi Atta, is our guest.

The reading and interaction will take place at the Goethe Institute in Accra on 25th September from 7 PM – 8 PM.

Sefi Atta was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. She was educated there, in England and the United States. She is the author of Everything Good Will Come (Interlink Books, 2005), Swallow (Interlink Books, 2010), A Bit of Difference (Interlink Books, 2012) and the collection of short stories, News from Home (Interlink Books, 2010). She received the 2006 Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature in Africa and the 2009 Noma Award for Publishing in Africa. Also a playwright, her radio plays have been broadcast by the BBC and her stage plays have been performed internationally.

Sefi Atta currently lives in Meridian, Mississippi.
