Writers Project of Ghana

Author for June -- Ebenezer Amankwah

Writers Project of Ghana and the Goethe Institute proudly present Ghanaian author Ebenezer Amankwah at our monthly reading series.

In 2008, corporate Ghana was held spell-bound when the founder of CAL Bank, Afare Donkor, requisitioned an Emergency General Meeting of the bank with shocking resolutions, key amongst which was the removal of the managing director, Frank Brako Jnr. The background details, horse-trading and intrigue are the highlights of Ebenezer Amankwah’s first book, Ahead of the Game: Afare Donkor and Ghana's Financial Renaissance (2015). The book has since publication received excellent reviews.

Ebenezer Amankwah holds degrees from the University of Ghana and University of Birmingham, UK and is also a UK Chevening Scholar. He previously worked as Corporate Affairs Manager at Standard Chartered Bank and is currently the Corporate Communications Manager at Vodafone Ghana.

Don't miss this opportunity to meet and interact with Ebenezer Amankwah. Autographed copies of books will be on sale.
