Writers Project of Ghana

Writer for November - Nana Awere Damoah

The Writers Project of Ghana and the Goethe - Institut presents Nana Awere Damoah as guest writer for the fifth reading in the Ghana Voices Series. These monthly book readings give you a chance to meet and hear from Ghanaian writers.

Nana Awere Damoah is a prolific writer/poet and will read to us from his second book, the mixed genre Through the Gates of Thought. The Ghana Voices Series provides a platform to explore the synchrony between the literary arts and societal change in Ghana. We invite readers to follow this oral anthology as we bring together the treasure of our literary heritage. Nana Awere Damoah shares with us in a relaxed ambience, his story of 'wandering on the fields of consideration and through the gates of thought' following which the floor will be open for discussions.

This reading session is proudly supported by the Goethe-Institut Ghana.
