Special Reading With Bisi Adjapon

For our second special event in 2019, Writers Project of Ghana proudly presents Bisi Adjapon at a reading and interaction session on Saturday, April 13th 2019 at the Akuafo Hall SCR Gardens, Legon.

Bisi Adjapon is the author of the novel Of Women and Frogs, the short story version of which was nominated for the Caine Prize. Bisi's writings have appeared in journals and newspapers including McSweeney’s Quarterly, Washington Times, Daily Graphic and Chicken Bones. While in the United States of America, she founded and ran The Young Shakespeare company for four years.

Bisi has worked as an International Affairs Specialist for the U. S. Foreign Agricultural Service and won the Civil Rights Award for Human Relations and a Strategic Objective Award for her work on the Norman Borlaug Capacity Building Fellows targeting women in developing countries. She holds degrees in French and Spanish, has worked in several embassies, and has taught and managed projects in Latin America and Africa. Currently, she spends her time in Ghana and the United States of America.

Join us on April 13th, 2019 for the special reading and interaction with Bisi Adjapon as she reads from Of Women and Frogs.
