Poetry and Theatre Session at Casa Flora

Zaafi Arts, Writers Project of Ghana and Casa Flora present a new poetry and theatre series starting this April and continuing on the last Saturday of each month.

The maiden edition will feature the play, Good Old Loving written by Queku Danquah. The event will start with poetry readings and performances which will dovetail into the theatre session. There will also be a discussion session.

Play synopsis: Ato, a widower with a complicated past, is in love with Baaba, a single mother. Kate, a middle-aged woman, gives growing old a run for its money by defying all norms to hang on to youth. Kwaku, has completed his national service but is unable to get the job of his choice... Good Old Loving discusses many relevant social issues in Ghana.
