Our Reading Series, The Ghana Voices Series is a monthly public reading series which has been running for up to eight months every year since July, 2010.

Poetry Time at Goethe Abansoro with Jude Idada and Ziarly
Writers Project of Ghana and Goethe-Institut Ghana invite patrons to the next edition of "Poetry Time at Goethe-Abansoro" at 7.00 PM on Wednesday 10th July 2024.
This session features Ghanaian poet and artist Ziarly and Nigerian screenwriter, poet, and novelist Jude Idada.
The venue for the session is Goethe-Institut in Cantonments, Accra. Join us for an evening of themed poetry readings and discussion.
Ama Asantewa Diaka is Author for June
Writers Project of Ghana and Goethe-Institut Ghana are proud to present poet and fiction author Ama Asantewa Diaka as our author for the month. Ama is our guest author at our monthly reading at Goethe-Institut Ghana. She will read from her recently launched collection of short stories, someone birthed them broken.
Do join us at 7.00 PM prompt for an engaging reading and discussion session on Wednesday 26th June. The venue is the Goethe-Institut at Cantonments in Accra. Copies of books will also be on sale.
An Evening with Ama Dadson, CEO, Akoobooks Audio
For May 2024, Writers Project of Ghana and Goethe-Institut Ghana will dedicate the monthly reading session to a discussion on audio books. We are excited to present a conversation with Ama Dadson, founder and CEO of Akoobooks Audio, the trailblazers in digital audio books in West Africa.
Akoobooks is a Ghanaian tech startup and the conversation will touch on the evolution, current state, and prospects for audio books in Ghana. There will also be a sampling of selected audio books. This event is open to the public and will take place at Goethe-Institut, Cantonments.
Author of the Month: Nyani Nkrumah
Writers Project of Ghana and Goethe-Institut Ghana proudly announce the restart of our long-running monthly readings series, with the first edition for 2024 slated for Wednesday 24th April 2024. We are honoured to feature Nyani Nkrumah, author of the novel Wade in the Water.
The reading is open to the public and will take place at Goethe-Institut, Cantonments.
