Our Reading Series, The Ghana Voices Series is a monthly public reading series which has been running for up to eight months every year since July, 2010.

Special Reading with selected APBF Poets
Writers Project of Ghana and Goethe-Institut Ghana present a special reading event with Ghanaian poets Jay Kophy, Nikitta Dede Adjirakor, and Tawiah Naana Akua Mensah. The reading and conversation will feature the poets reading from their chapbooks, published by the African Poetry Book Fund (APBF) in collaboration with Akashic Books and selected, edited and introduced by Prof. Kwame Dawes and Prof. Chris Abani. The books are Maceration by Jay Kophy, A Litany on Loss by Tawiah Naana Akua Mensah, and Learning to Say My Name by Nikitta Dede Adjirakor.

Poetry Time at Goethe Abansoro with Hondred Percent and Nii Amartey Amarteifio
Goethe-Institut Ghana and Writers Project of Ghana are proud to present poets Hondred Percent and Nii Amartey Amarteifio for the July edition of Poetry Time at Goethe Abansoro, a themed poetry reading and conversation session. This event is slated for Wednesday 5th July 2023 at 7 PM GMT at the Goethe-Institut in Cantonments, Accra. You are cordially invited to join us for an evening of poetry readings and discussion.
